Lake Massapoag Cleanup: Sharon, MA

Various sites around Lake Massapoag.
Volunteers Needed!
Join us for a community cleanup around Lake Massapoag and nearby streets in Sharon to pick up trash and remove invasive plants.
- Meet at the Memorial Park Beach bandstand (main beach on Beach Street, Sharon) at 8:30 am to sign in and choose your cleanup site.
- Waivers are required — please be sure to sign one when you check in.
- We provide trash bags, trash tongs, rakes, shovels, gloves, hand sanitizer, and bug spray.
- Plan to bring hats, sunscreen, water, snacks — and any favorite work gloves (though we will also have gloves on-site for you.) Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended for terrain and poison ivy.
- Volunteers who want to help remove invasive plants should bring cutting tools or loppers.

Clean Up by Boat
Adventures Unbound will have canoes and kayaks available for those who wish to remove trash from the shoreline.
- Minimum age without an adult is 16.
- All participants must check in at the Memorial Beach bandstand before boating.
- Waivers must be signed before boating. Teens aged 16-18 must have a boating waiver signed by an adult. Get the waiver.
- Life vests must be worn at all times while on the water.
