Highlights From Neponset Day 2025
Hundreds of people from across the Neponset River Watershed came out for a sunny Saturday on the Neponset River Greenway Trail to celebrate nature, science, and public access to blue/green spaces at NepRWA’s Annual River Festival.
Kids lined up at the prize wheel to test their knowledge of the River, while free popcorn, ice cream, and stuffed sopapillas kept everyone fueled for fun.
Attendees learned about rowing, fly fishing, biology, biking, fire safety, and the reservoir where their water comes from.
One of the biggest highlights: free kayaking on the River, courtesy of Paddle Boston!
