Protecting Your Water, Wildlife & Land
We know that climate change is reshaping our Watershed—and nowhere is it more visible than in the Neponset Estuary. Working together with community members makes a difference in how we deal with it.
The Neponset Estuary Community Advisory Committee (CAC) brings together residents, community groups, business owners, and municipal staff to plan for climate change and guide the future of open space along the estuary.
Consider joining the CAC to help shape local climate plans. We especially welcome people who:
No experience with climate policy is needed—we’ll learn together about local risks, solutions, and what works best for our area. Your experience is your expertise, and we want to hear from you!
The CAC meets about four times a year, with extra meetings as needed for ongoing projects.
Members learn about sea level rise modeling, salt marsh changes, flooding, and which management options make the most sense for our area.
