Greater Boston Trout Unlimited
“Home Waters”
Our partnership with Greater Boston Trout Unlimited (GBTU) began in 2018, when they announced the Neponset River Watershed as their chapter’s official home waters.
Together, we work on conservation efforts, annual events, and education programs such as:
- The Embrace-a-Stream project, an initiative to protect and restore the Neponset Watershed’s coldwater streams and the native brook trout populations that call them home. Learn more…
- Learn-to-cast lessons at Neponset Day.
- An annual family fishing day on the first Saturday in June.
